CreDec National Service Centre opens in Scotland

CreDec has finalised its plans for the opening of new support and sales operations in Scotland to support the development of CreDec services to the UK SME market. Located on the outskirts of Haddington, some 25 minutes by road from the centre of Edinburgh, the site allows for future expansion.

Revenue gets tough on late payment of tax bills

HMRC has taken a tougher line on businesses wanting to pay their tax bills late, doubling the percentage of tax deferral applications that it turned down last year. The total number of rejections rose from 6,760 to 8,550.

Senior member of staff takes part in Three Peaks Challenge

Stuart Buxton, CreDec’s Data Operations Manager, successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge over the week end of 11-12th September, in aid of The Meningitis Trust, which entails climbing the three highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours, including journey time driving between them.
