In a new departure for the UK payments industry...
Gibson Whitter was one of only four nominated UK firms to be shortlisted in the category of Practice Growth of the year for the prestigious AccountingWEB Practice Excellence Awards 2014.
Set up by Linda Gibson and Gavin Whitter in 2012 the firm combines a modern approach with old-fashioned values of care and responsibility. It has a strong ethos of corporate social responsibility: its directors are variously trustees of the Dreams Come True Charity, The National Museum of the Royal Navy, The Royal Marines Museum. David Bourne, senior manager, is a trustee director of Wymering Manor Trust.
Gibson Whitter are an ICAEW member firm and CIOT Chartered Tax Advisers. The firm is a Xero partner.
CreDec supports Gibson Whitter with a range of credit and payment solutions that streamline the way the firm works with its clients.
Gavin Whitter, director, says of CreDec:
“They understand the way we work with clients and [their solutions] just slot directly into our business… the process was completely painless and very fast.”
